We're excited to be part of Sustainable Surf's Teepee at the Byron Bay Surf Festival on the 25th of February. With a big focus on sustainability at this year's festival we've been invited by Sustainable Surf to demonstrate the best use of more sustainable materials in surfboard manufacture.
Entropy Resins are supplying some of their bio-based 'Super Sap' epoxy and Colan Australia have provided flax-fibre cloth and uni-directional basalt tape to wrap up a couple of little EPS sleds that we've handshaped for the event. One of these boards will be up for grabs on the day as well.
We will also be in the Deus shaping bay at some stage throughout the day on Saturday shaping something wild out of a 100% recycled foam blank provided by Sustain Surf.
Come along and call in to say hi!
