A native of Austinmer, nestled below the towering Illawarra Escarpment on the south coast of New South Wales, it was no coincidence that Lucy Farrier would develop a deep love for nature, the ocean and living sustainably.

Lucy’s a Geographer, bush regenerator and national park ranger who has earned much respect from her colleagues for protecting what she loves and even more respect from a large circle of mates for her epic garden cook-ups.

Always keen, and often the ringleader of her gang of local lady sliders, Lucy surfs with a grace and casualness not too often found in today’s lineups.

This year with all their possessions bundled into a Landcruiser troop carrier and a roof top tent perched precariously on top, Lucy and her partner have set-off on a surfing sebatical throughout Australia.
